Applying to The HCN

Thank you for your interest in joining The HCN and supporting its work.

The following are the basic requirements for coaches to join The HCN’s roster:

• International Coach Federation (ICF) certification or EMCC EIA certification

• International development experience and the enrollment in an Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP)

• Ability to provide at least four hours of pro bono coaching within a calendar year.

The HCN also welcomes senior leaders in the humanitarian and international development field to join our roster as mentors to support their peers.

As a member of The HCN community, you will have access to:

• A global network of nearly 900 coaches

• Periodic HCN community calls via Zoom

• Exclusive learning and development experiences

• Certified coaching supervision (optional)

The HCN is actively and unequivocally committed to social justice, universal human rights, and the elimination of systemic racism.
